This is me. Trying to lose my Menopause Twenty. At the same time I want to accept my Grandma Body! Anybody out there in the same boat?
My mom was a constant dieter. She was short, and as she aged her very normal weight-gain made her hips and thighs expand. The problem is she always hated her Grandma Body. I was a late in life child so she was going through all of this when I was about ten. She didn't make cookies. She didn't bake cakes. We got cinnamon rolls twice a year - Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was quick to comment on a food, "Oh, that's fattening."
